LX FWD, LXS FWD/AWD, GT-Line FWD/AWD, EX FWD, and GT FWD are the five trim levels available for the 2022 Kia K5, two of which provide all-wheel drive: LX FWD, LXS FWD/AWD, GT-Line FWD/AWD, EX FWD, and GT FWD. The new Kia logo will be primary on all 2022 Kia K5 cars and several additional features available. A 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine is standard in most trims, while the GT trim has a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The first produces 180 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque, whereas the latter produces 290 horsepower and 311 pound-feet.
The larger 10.25-inch color touchscreen navigation display with connected Apple CarPlay and Android Auto that comes standard in the 2022 Kia K5 replaces the 8-inch display found in the GT-Line, EX, and GT models. In addition, the LXS FWD trim now contains additional rear USB chargers, the GT-Line FWD trim now comes standard with a drop-in wireless charger, and select trims now offer four luxury options.
