Brand New Look for the 2020 Kia Soul
When we say the 2020 Kia Soul is all new, we really mean it. The outside looks fresh and exciting with new lines and a more modern take on the iconic Kia Soul design. It lacks the signature Kia tiger-nose grille and adds low profile headlights, boomerang tail lights, and more that are all evocative and all welcome additions to the Kia that everyone already loves.
New Kia Soul trim levels for 2020
For the 2020 model year, Kia is introducing two brand new trim levels that both add their own unique look to the iconic compact. The GT-Line will give you a sporty front fascia along with 18-inch alloy wheels, special GT-Line badging, red accents, gloss black side mirrors, and more. The X-Line goes in another direction with a rugged design that adds off-road inspired accents, body cladding, over fenders, and optional two-tone paint.
New engine options for the 2020 Kia Soul
For 2020, the Kia Soul is getting a new standard engine. It’s a 2.0-liter Nu four-cylinder that you may remember from the 2019 Kia Forte. This engine can produce up to 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque.
Though it is available with a manual transmission, it’s also available with an Intelligent Variable Transmission or IVT. This new style of transmission promises to provide wonderful efficiency. Of course, if you want more power, then the 1.6-liter turbo engine is still available. It even still comes in all its 201-horsepower and 195-pound-feet of torque glory.
