Many cars lock most if not all of the safety features behind the highest trims, but that is not the case for the Sportage. For example, you get lane keep assist, forward collision avoidance with pedestrian detection, and a driver attention warning system all standard.

You also get other expected features like electronic stability control, traction control, hill start assist, downhill brake control, a backup camera, and a tire-pressure monitoring system.

Of course, you also get a full complement of airbags which includes two front-mounted airbags, airbags on the outer side of each front seat, and full-length side-curtain airbags. If you have kids, then you can utilize the lower anchors and tethers for children equipped in the back seats.
